CITB - SMSTS Refresher
About the course
The CITB SMSTS Refresher revisits the key principles of managing construction site health and safety, alongside updates to legislation, guidance and working practices.
Delegates will refresh their understanding of management responsibilities and the measures needed to control health, safety, welfare and environmental risks on site.
Who is this course for?
This course is for delegates who have successfully completed SMSTS or a previous SMSTS Refresher and hold a current, valid certificate.
You must attend the refresher before your existing certificate expires. If it has expired, you will need to complete the full five-day SMSTS course again.

What will delegates learn?
By the end of the course, delegates will have refreshed their understanding of site management responsibilities and how current guidance applies to their work.
Successful completion of the attendance and assessment requirements renews SMSTS certification for a further five years.
