Mental Health Awareness

About the course

Everyone has mental health, and it can change over time. This course explains the difference between mental health and mental illness, challenges common misconceptions and encourages a more supportive approach at work.

Delegates will explore possible signs that someone is struggling, factors that contribute to workplace stress, and how to start a supportive conversation. The course also covers privacy, personal boundaries and where to find appropriate help.

Mentalhealth
Who is this course for?

This course is suitable for employees, supervisors and managers who want to improve their understanding of mental health and support colleagues appropriately.

It provides awareness and guidance on supportive responses. It does not train delegates to diagnose conditions or provide treatment.

What will delegates learn?

By the end of the course, delegates will have a better understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect it. They will recognise possible changes that may suggest someone needs support, while understanding that these signs do not confirm a diagnosis.

They will also understand how to approach someone privately, listen respectfully and help them find suitable support.
