Abrasive Wheels

About the course

Abrasive wheels are used across a range of tasks, but selecting or using the wrong wheel can create serious risks. This course helps operatives understand the checks and safety considerations involved before work begins.

Delegates will explore how abrasive wheels are identified, inspected, handled and stored. The course also covers wheel and spindle speeds, mounting awareness, hazards associated with abrasive wheels and saws, and safe use of the equipment.
